Our Plan

We are creating a community, culture, and professional collaboration to build and maintain a thriving ecosystem of wellness to proactively address the high rates, vulnerabilities, and devastating symptoms of anxiety and depression.

Changes related to the explosion of social media, anxiety-ridden information, screen addiction, AI technology, and local economic insecurity have significantly impacted our families, communities, and child development, often in negative ways:

• Surge in young adults receiving an ADHD diagnosis

• A generation addicted to the dopamine producing effects of text messages, “likes”, Instagram, Tiktok, Snapchat, and many other platforms

• Nationally, youth suicide deaths have nearly doubled in the last few years +alarming rise in school shootings – many due to mental health issues .

• Throughout Hawaii, 68% of suicide victims were attributed to mental illness, most commonly “depressed mood” (54%)
